Channa Masala

Channa Masala is one of the exotic food of India. It is mainly eaten in northern region of India. It is very easy and flavorful recipe. It is made up of many spices and common ingredients.


Lets Begin.

Ingredients:-
1. 2 chopped onions
2. 2 chopped tomatoes
3. 3 Slitted of green chilies
4. 1 inch chopped ginger
5. 4-5 garlic cloves
6. chopped coriander
7. 1 tbsp garam masala
8. Salt as per taste
9. 1/2 tbsp turmeric
10. 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
11. water as per requirement
12. 1 cup soaked chick peas
13. 1 tbsp cooking oil

Directions:-

1. Cook soaked chick peas into pressure cooker for about 15-20 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and garlic, saute until golden brown.
3. Grind the tomatoes, ginger and green chillies. Pour the mixture into the pan.
4. Season with salt, turmeric, red chili powder and garam masala.
5. Cook until oil is separated from the vegetables.
6. Put cooked chick peas and stock.
7. Simmer the gas and cook for 20 minutes.
8. Garnish with coriander and slits of green chili.
9. Channa masala is ready to serve.
10. Serve it with rice, chapattis or bhaturas.
