Kadhahi Paneer

One of the exotic food loved by most of the punjabis... follow the recipe..



Ingredients:-

  1. Paneer
  2. Onion
  3. Tomato
  4. Garlic
  5. Ginger
  6. Green Chilli
  7. Dry Red Chilli
  8. Bay Leaf
  9. Green Cardamom
  10. Cloves
  11. Salt
  12. Turmeric Powder
  13. Red Chilli Powder
  14. Coriander Powder
  15. Kasuri Methi
  16. Kaju Paste 
Directions:-
  1. Roast dry ingredients(bay leaf, green and black cardamom, cloves, dry red chilli) and grind them coarsely to form a powder.
  2. Heat oil in the pan and add roughly chopped onion, tomatos and garlic cloves and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Then grind them to form a paste.
  4. In the same pan add more oil then add turmeric powder and red chilli powder and add the paste and mix well.
  5. Cook the mixture well for about 15 mintues and then add kaju paste or cream and cook it well.
  6. Then add cubes of paneer and kasuri methi and cook for 1-2 mintues.
  7. Transfer it into serving dish and garnish with coriander leaves and dash of cream.
  8. Serve it with chapati or tandoori naan.
