Aloo Parantha

This recipe is one of the most favorite breakfast dishes. It is a whole wheat flour bread stuffed with mashed potatoes, onion, coriander and some seasoning which enhances the flavor of bread. This bread is mostly eaten by the various regions of India and now also popular in foreign countries.Following are the ingredients and directions to make the aloo parantha.


Ingredients:-
1. 4-5 potato boiled and peeled
2. 1 inch ginger finally chopped
3. 1 onion chopped
4. 2 green chillis chopped
5. Salt as per taste
6. 1 tbsp amchur (Dry Mango Powder)
7. 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
8. 2 cups flour
9. Water as required
10. Oil
11. 1 tbsp ajwain
12. 1 bunch of coriander

Directions:-
1. Take flour in a mixing bowl and then knead the soft dough.
2.  For stuffing, take another mixing bowl add mashed potatoes, ginger, onion and green chillis.
3. Season it with salt, ajwain, red chilli powder and amchur.
4. Add chopped coriander and then mix it all.
5. Make medium sized balls of dough and then put stuffing into the balls.
6. Dust some flour on platform and roll it with rollpin and make chapattis.
7. Heat the pan and cook the chapattis on each side by putting some oil.
8. Serve the chapattis with desi ghee or raita.
