Vegetable Pulao

Pulao is the most comforting one pot meal. It is a mixture of alot of vegetables and rice. Mostly eaten with Raita. Lets begin the recipe.

Ingredients:-

  1.  Rice, 1 cup
  2. Peas, 1/2 cup
  3. Onion, 1 chopped
  4. Tomato, 1 chopped
  5. Carrots, 1/2 cup diced
  6. Beans, 1/2 cup
  7. Cauliflower, 1/2 cup
  8. Green chillies, 3-4 slits
  9. Cumin Seeds(Jeera), 1 tbsp
  10. Turmeric Powder, 1/4 tbsp
  11. Red chilli Powder, 1/4 tbsp
  12. Salt, as per taste
  13. Water, 2 cups
  14. Oil, 1 tbsp
  15. Potatoes, 2 chopped


Directions:-

  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker then add cumin seeds.
  2. Add onion and saute until it get soft.
  3. Add tomato and green chilli, cook until soft.
  4. Add vegetables,salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder and cook them for about 5 minutes.
  5. Add rice and water close the lid of pressure cooker wait for 2 whistles and turn off gas.
  6. Ready to serve.
