Channa Dal Curry Pakora

Want To Make Curry But you dont have gram flour ....Hey guys dont worry then also you can make
Curry with simple, new and easy twist .... i.e just follow the recipe....



Ingredients:-
  1. Soaked bengal gram(channa dal), 2 cups
  2. Onion, 5 medium (3 sliced, 2 chopped)
  3. Garlic, 5-7 cloves
  4. Cumin Seeds, 1tbsp
  5. Ginger, 1 inch chopped
  6. Green Chilli, 2 chopped
  7. Dry Red chillis
  8. Fenugreek Seeds, 1 tbsp
  9. Red Chilli Powder, 1/2 tbsp
  10. Turmeric Powder, 1 tbsp
  11. Curd, 1 cup beaten
  12. Salt as per taste
  13. Curry Leaves
Directions:-

For Pakora:-
  1. Coarsely grind ginger, green chilli and soaked channa dal, add water if required.
  2. Add sliced onion, salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder into the mixture and coat it well.
  3. Heat oil in the pan for frying the pakoras.
  4. Take spoonful of a mixture and put into hot oil for frying until golden brown.
  5. Then keep it aside and prepare for curry.
For Curry:-
  1. Grind soaked channa dal and form a paste.
  2. Add it into the beaten curd and mix it well and keep it aside.
  3. Take a heavy bottom pan and put oil for tempering the curry.
  4. Add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, dry red chillis and curry leaves, saute them for 30 seconds.
  5. Add chopped onion and garlic cloves and cook it well and then add ginger and green chilli paste mix them and then add salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder
  6. Then add channa dal and curd mixture into the pan and cook it for 20-30 minutes after a boil on medium flame and add water if required to adjusting the consistency of curry.
  7. Add pakoras when curry cooked properly and serve it with rice.
