Make easy snack for winters for tea time...follow the recipe..
Ingredients:-
- Chopped Methi (fenugreek leaves), 1 cup
- Salt, 1 tbsp
- Sugar, 2 tbsp
- Coarse Wheat Flour or Semolina(Suji), 1 cup
- Cooked Rice or Grated White Pumpkin, 3/4 cup
- Oil, 3 tbsp
- Curd, 2 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder, 3/4 tbsp
- Red Chilli Powder, 1 tbsp
- Asfoetida, a large pinch
- Baking Soda, a large pinch
- Chilli-ginger Paste, 1 tbsp
- Oil for greasing/frying
Directions:-
- Rub salt and sugar on the methi leaves until they soften and water comes out.
- Add rest of the ingredients and mix well.
- Add enough water to make soft balls.
- Make the soft balls or make long rolls from the mixture.
- Fry them in medium hot oil Or arrange them on a greased plate and cover the rolls with a piece of butter paper and cook in a microwave oven on medium high for 3-4 minutes or until done.
- Serve hot with green coriander chutney.
