Mushroom Duplex

A simple, easy and tasty snack that you can make at home. Follow the ingredients and directions to make a recipe.

Servings:- 4

Ingredients:-
  1. 1 chopped onion
  2. 1 chopped capsicum
  3. Mushrooms without stem
  4. Some grated cheese
  5. Some chopped olives
  6. 1 chopped tomato
  7. Salt
  8. Pepper
  9. Oregano
  10. Red chilli powder
  11. 2 tbsp of cornflour 
  12. 2 tbsp of refined flour 
  13. 1 cup bread crumbs/crushed cornflakes
  14. Oil for frying

Directions:-

  1. Take a bowl and add chopped vegetables and season it with salt, pepper, oregano and red chilli powder and also add grated cheese and olives.
  2. In another mixing bowl add cornflour, refined flour, salt, pepper and red chilli powder and form a thick batter by adding little water.
  3. Stuff the mixture into the mushrooms and with the toothpick join two stuffed mushrooms together so that it forms duplex.
  4. Coat it with batter and then with bread crumbs or crushed cornflakes.
  5. Heat the oil for frying and add mushroom duplex into the hot oil.
  6. Serve hot with mayo dip or green chutney.
